Alina Aluminium prioritizes the utmost sensitivity to the security of your personal data. With this consciousness, as a Company, we place great importance on processing and preserving all types of personal data related to individuals within the Company in accordance with the Law on the Protection of Personal Data No. 6698 (“the PDPL”). With a full understanding of our responsibility as the “Data Controller” defined within the scope of the PDPL, we process your personal data as explained below and within the limits prescribed by legislation.

In this information text:

  • Personal Data: Any information related to an identified or identifiable natural person,
  • Law on the Protection of Personal Data (“the PDPL”): Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data, published in the Official official journal on 07.04.2016,
  • Data Controller: The natural or legal person who determines the purposes and means of processing personal data and is responsible for establishing and managing the data recording system,
  • Data Processor: The natural or legal person who processes personal data on behalf of the Data Controller based on the authority given by them.

Data Controller:

Your personal data, shared in roles such as contact, supplier, customer, employee, intern, visitor, etc., under the the PDPL, will be evaluated within the specified scope by the legal entity identified as Alina Aluminium.

  • Collection, Processing, and Operation Purposes of Personal Data

While your personal data may vary depending on your relationship with our Company, it can be collected automatically or non-automatically through various methods such as our Company’s units, website, social media channels, mobile applications, and similar tools, verbally, in writing, or electronically. Your personal data will be created and processed as long as your relationship with our Company continues.

The collected personal data will be processed in accordance with the processing conditions and purposes of personal data specified in Articles 5 and 6 of the the PDPL, for the purposes of carrying out the necessary work for you to benefit from our Company’s services, ensuring the legal and commercial security of individuals in relation to our Company, determining and implementing our Company’s strategies, and ensuring the implementation of our Company’s human resources policies.

  • How and Why Personal Data Can Be Transferred and Processed:

Your collected personal data may be transferred to our business partners, suppliers, legally authorized public institutions, and private individuals within the framework of the personal data processing conditions and purposes specified in Articles 8 and 9 of the the PDPL, for the purposes of conducting the necessary work for you to benefit from our Company’s services, ensuring the legal and commercial security of individuals in relation to our Company, determining and implementing our Company’s commercial and business strategies, and ensuring the implementation of our Company’s human resources policies.

  • Method of Personal Data Collection and Legal Basis:

Your personal data is acquired with the aim of fulfilling our Company’s contract and legal responsibilities accurately and completely, allowing our services to be provided in line with the purposes mentioned above through any verbal, written, or electronic means. Personal data collected for this legal reason may also be processed and transferred for the purposes specified in items (1) and (2) of this text within the scope of the personal data processing conditions and purposes specified in Articles 5 and 6 of the the PDPL.

  • Rights of the Personal Data Subject as Specified in Article 11 of the the PDPL:

As personal data owners, if you submit your requests related to your rights to our Company through the methods specified below, our Company will conclude your requests free of charge within 30 days at the latest, depending on the nature of the request. However, if a fee is stipulated by the Personal Data Protection Board, the fee specified in the tariff determined by our Company will be charged. In this context, personal data subjects have the right to:

  • Learn whether personal data is processed,
  • Request information if personal data has been processed,
  • Learn the purpose of processing personal data and whether they are used in accordance with their purpose,
  • Know the third parties to whom personal data is transferred, domestically or abroad,
  • Request correction of personal data if it is incomplete or incorrectly processed,
  • Request the deletion or destruction of personal data within the framework of the conditions stipulated in Article 7 of the the PDPL,
  • Request notification of the transactions made pursuant to subparagraphs (e) and (f) to third parties to whom personal data has been transferred,
  • Object to the occurrence of a result against the person himself by analyzing the processed data exclusively through automated systems,
  • Demand compensation in case of damage due to the unlawful processing of personal data.

In accordance with the first paragraph of Article 13 of the the PDPL, you can submit your requests regarding the exercise of your rights through the methods determined by the Personal Data Protection Board to our Company in writing or by other methods specified by the Board. Since the Personal Data Protection Board has not determined any method at this stage, your application must be made to our Company in writing under the the PDPL. In this context, the channels and methods to submit your written and wet-signed applications for your rights under Article 11 of the the PDPL to our Company are explained below.

To exercise the aforementioned rights and request the usage of your identified information with an explanation regarding the right you request under Article 11 of the the PDPL, including the necessary information to identify your identity, you must submit your written and wet-signed request in person, by mail, or through a notary to [email protected].
